Dear Peter, Thank you very much for your review! We are very happy to read, your mouth seems to be healing better. That’s what blue®m oral gel does! In the package leaflet and packaging we have communicated different insertion times. Because the blue®m oral gel has the official status as a medical device*, it must be labelled by the authorities on the packaging and in the instructions for use that the gel may not remain in place for more than one hour. However, it is no problem at all to leave the gel in your mouth for longer. In fact, we often recommend applying it before bedtime, so it will be in the mouth all night. This is no problem! The gel doesn’t need to be removed and will disappear after a while by saliva or swallowing food or drink. Avoid eating and drinking during 30 minutes after application, because this reduces the effectiveness of the gel.

    * Oral gel is a medical device and has a CE mark on the packaging. This means that the product has been developed according to European rules. These rules are described in a European Directive. It describes quality and safety requirements that every medical device must meet. Not only the product, but also the production process complies with the described requirements.

Keep us informed about the healing!

    Peter

I only got this product today ( Blue m oral gel ) after a visit to my dentist. 2 weeks after recieving implants.
i have used it twice so far and i feel as if its doing something. this could be a placebo effect.? but it feels good.
my mouth ( area of my gum thats been giving me the most grief ) seems to be healing better.
I am not sure about why you can only have it in place for a hour.? this is not clear on any documentation ?
and i personally used a cotton bud to get it to the area i needed it most. as when u squeeze a gel into your mouth its pretty difficult to see ( hold a lip open and tilt your head back and stare down your nose into a mirror ) so a cotton bud worked perfectly.
but why can it only be in your mouth an hour ?
i use a mouth wash before bed and would like to apply blue m gel after the mouth wash. as advised by the site instructions and leaflet. but i will be asleep for longer than an hour. ( i hope )
so. its staying on for 8 hrs. what are the side effects..????
anyway. so far so good. it feels like its doing something and the taste is not displeasent. it does taste blue. 🙂

bluem® Oral Gel for Oral problems

blue®m oral gel is especially designed by a team of implantologists, oral surgeons and dentists. The gel contains an extra high concentration of active oxygen this means that the tension of the said oxygen is increased in the mouth. This allows wounds in the mouth to heal faster. That’s why the blue®m oral gel is effective when you’re experiencing mouth problems.
blue®m oral gel contains a unique formula based on active oxygen and lactoferrin: both powerful ingredients with a synergistic effect. The gel is easy to apply locally on troubled spots or wounds in the mouth. It works quickly in curing many mouth problems, such as bloody and inflamed gums (periodontitis), inflammation around implants (peri-implantitis) and open wounds.

Many doctors use blue®m oral gel during or after surgical procedures. In addition, they recommend it to patients in order to stimulate healing of the wound(s). For example, after pulling teeth, after implantation, after chemotherapy or when you’ve wounds caused by badly fitting/fitted dentures.
Do you have gum disease? In this case, blue®m oral gel is effective too! Anaerobic bacteria cause gum problems. These bacteria don’t survive oxygen. The gel with active oxygen can be applied in pockets, on inflamed gums or around inflamed implants. It’s easy and effective!

For the best wound healing and an improved absorption of the active oxygen, it’s best to use multiple products simultaneously. The oral gel is specifically for local application, such as wounds or sores in the mouth. In addition, we recommend the use of toothpaste and mouthwash. By rinsing and brushing your teeth with active oxygen, you’re taking care of the optimal tension of oxygen in your mouth. The end result: a faster wound healing and less risk of complications.

Oral gel for Wound support

Because the gel is especially developed to accelerate wound healing, we call this wound support. Oral gel is a medical device and has a CE marking on it’s packaging. That means that the product has been developed according to the European rules, which are described in a European Directive. Not only the product but the production process too, meets the described quality and safety requirements.
